Sandor Hau

Sandor Hau currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Credit at Charlesbank Capital Partners and is a seasoned professional in the finance industry. With an experienced background, he previously served as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Credit and Special Situations at Nomura Securities International. Sandor's extensive experience at Goldman, Sachs & Co., spanning various roles in investment banking, fixed income, and equities, includes a decade-long tenure in the Principal Strategies Group, where he excelled in public/private credit and equity investments. Notably, he held leadership positions such as Portfolio Manager and Head of the Capital Structure Arbitrage Group and the Principal Finance Group

Sandor is also an active member of the community being involved in several organizations. He was previously a member of the KAFSC board. A co-founder and co-chairman of the Korea Finance Society, Sandor actively contributes to the financial community. He is a current member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Council of Korean Americans. Additionally, he serves as an alumni mentor for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity.

Residing in Rye, NY, Sandor is married with four children. He is an alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a BS in economics, summa cum laude. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Sandor's commitment to international understanding is furthered by his past role as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar at Yonsei University in Korea.
